Compact, prefabricated units for federal centers in Russia
We all think we know how buildings are constructed from the technical drawings until completion: planning, acquiring the building permission, construction of the shell, followed by the roofing, electrical work, painting, plumbing, etc., in a more or less coordinated manner. This is not the case in the joint, large-scale project of Cadolto and KKT KRAUS. In just over a year, seven clinics are being built at central locations in separate regional administration areas.

University of Applied Sciences and Technical University Darmstadt
In December 2003 the expert of prefabricated modular buildings, Cadolto, was given the order to construct a new three floor high university building in Darmstadt. Before the final assembly in February KKT Kraus had already finished all components concerning air conditioning and ventilating technology thus ensuring that all room modules could be installed fully equipped.

City hospital Kogalym (Siberia)
For the different parts of the hospital in Kogalym KKT Kraus built 17 air conditioning and refrigeration plants in total with an air flow of 145.000 m³/h and a cooling capacity of 500kW. On site KKT also projected and implemented a special superior control center that allows to permanently control and monitor the functions of the plants via 26 controllers.

Laboratory climate chamber of the Department for Mechanical and Supply Engineering at the Georg-Simon-Ohm Technical University Nuremberg
A partition wall divides this climate chamber into two chambers, in which various air conditions can be produced. Due to a temperature bracket of -30 to +40°C (-22 to +104°F) in one and +10 to +30°C (+50 to +86°F) in the other partial chamber, one is called the outside zone chamber and the other is called the inside zone chamber. As a sponsor KKT supplied both cooling units.
